The Truth about ‘The Taj’

India :

I believe in Love. And I believe in Truth. I can’t stand ‘disgraces’ to either of them.

I would choose to let the world know, the truth about ‘The Taj’, about ‘The Shah Jehan and Mumtaaz Saga’. Many of us, are unaware of what’s there actually stored behind the walls of Taj – other than the tomb of queen Mumtaz ( !? ) Yes, we are all duped and deceived. Unlike to what your guide told you if ever you visited Taj, or what you found in the sher-o-shayries that depicted the love Shah Jehan had for Mumtaz, or what you read in your history book when you were an elementary class student – Taj Mahal is not a mausoleum built by Shah Jehan in memories of his love Mumtaz, but is rather an ancient temple of Lord Shiva. Incredulous ? Check this original image of the pinnacle of the Taj, who I guess speaks it all. The Truth about ‘The Taj’

Researcher Prof. P. N. Oak, in his book Taj Mahal – The True Story, discloses that Shiva temple was usurped by Shah Jehan from Maharaja of Jaipur, Jai Singh then. This is admitted by Shah Jehan himself, in his court chronicle Badshahnama, that an exceptionally beautiful grand mansion in Agra was taken from Jai Singh for Mumtaz’s burial. To use seized temples and palaces as the burial places for dead emperors and royalties, was a common practice among Muslim rulers then. According to Oak, twenty-two rooms in Taj that have remained sealed all the way and are still inaccessible to public, contain headless statues of Lord Shiva ! The assumption is backed by the cruel and wild side of the emperor, the greedy chap who for grabbing Delhi throne; killed his own brother, cousins and nephews – could do anything to appease his ill-will for powers and praises ! I believe, Shah Jehan wasn’t an emperor but a tyrant ! Elaborated are the facts as well by Prof. Oak, that the love story of Mumtaz and Shah Jehan too, is nothing but a fairy tale created by court sycophants, blundering historians and sloppy archaeologists. Mumtaz was not ‘the-loved-most’ by Shah Jehan but only one of the several hundred wives and women he kept in his harem.

Knowing this bit of the fact, could be little too unacceptable for we – Indians. After all, Taj makes India, an India. But…… Again, can we – being the Indians, really digest these false admirations !? Let us accept the hard reality. Let us let the Truth live.

And the truth – and nothing but the truth is – Taj was a noteworthy building well before Shah Jehan’s times – and it’s not built by him for his so-talked love ! Poor Mumtaz, what could be more painful than being known for those love and memories, those were never there – and this too – posthumous ? At least, I feel sorry for her.

I see you got the email as well :-P How does it mattter if it was a shiv temple or a kali temple...it’s there, its being screwed up by pollution...instead of finding its origin, find out how you can save its end.

It does matter. It does matter if it was a Shiv temple or....... Coz we gotcha know ’The Truth’ !

”Asatyo Maahe Thi, Prabhu Param Satye Tu Lai Jaa... Unda Andhaare Thi, Prabhu Param Teje Tu Lai Jaa...”

Yes I did get the e-Mail. And when I came across the hidden Truth, I got kind of ’totally disturbed’. Somehow it touched me Personally. Emotionally. I went into my intricate research on the subject - and the results were ’eye-opening’. The proofs were enough to convince me to re-examine my beliefs for Taj Mahal, and at an end of everything - I could conclude whatever I have dared to write, confidently. After all, I had to do my bit of making others ’aware’ - and ’educated’.

It does matter if it was a Shiv temple or......... As giving false impressions to anybody for anything, is something ’Ethically Incorrect’ - ’Morally Unjustified’.

It does matter if it was a Shiv temple or......... As there’s no point living with ’Delusions’ and ’Hallucinations’.

It does matter if it was a Shiv temple or......... As believing it for something that is doesn’t stand for - is an ’abuse’ to the values of ’Love’ and ’Truth’.

All in all, the subject here is not ’How to save the Taj Mahal being polluted’ - it’s instead about ’Accepting only that what is actually there’ !

Again... Mine is nothing but a modest attempt to enlighten ’The Truth’. Take it or leave it !

:-P Man you got all sentii about what i wrote! anyways...i reallly give a shit whether it was a shiva temple or whatever this stupid e-mail claims it was. all i care about is that the Taj is beautiful and a monument of heritage and should be preserved...instead of wasting all the time and effort in researching about its origin, why wont this Oak guy tell you how to preserve it for future???

AND the main thing is HOW CAN YOU BELIEVE SUCH AN EMAIL ?????? i get loads of ’you’ve won a milllion’ everyday!!! I totallly understand your quest to know the truth and all, but just dont let it get all obsessive! :-)

You would have done it a long back dear :)

I never expected any of you believing/taking/accepting whatever I have to say. Coz... Everyone has a view-point ! But let’s make sure we don’t end up injuring anybody’s efforts and emotions.

Each of us is unique, and have the unique notions. Let’s respect ’the differences’.

:)

Before believing in this story, I would do some research on this myself. But who has the time??

Had I been an archeologist or a history prof., I would have time to do this, but with the current job, I wont find time for this.

As Sharmila has rightly mentioned, we should word towards saving this beautiful monument, else, in the future we will have nothing else but modern buildings and no history.

This is what happens when people drink whatever shit is being supplied to them through spam emails by propagandists. I have got this as a form of chain mail as well. To make a post out of this is ridiculous. I am appalled by the author's knee jerk reaction and finding an opportunity to create a post such as this here. Despicable.

This is not posted here out of no base ! Neither is copied and pasted from your spam mail. Sure, that e-mail was a trigger and took me to the depth of the subject, but you gotcha trust me or not - a much detailed research is followed prior to conclude what-so-ever is jotted down.

But the sad part of the story is - people are little too frantic to comment on anything and everything. I’d have appreciated, had my dear friend have opted to gain some knowledge for the subject than to only look for the superb adjectives for Me !

’View-points’ are welcome - not the ’Accusations’.

You want to know the truth, don't you. Okay listen then. The truth is that you are a sham, a farcical writer who can easily be swayed by an obscure theory by an even obscure expert who has no standing in historical authentication and validation foras. You need to get a life. That's what the truth is.

Well, I believe in my Truth - all discovered by myself by my thorough research, detailed studies, and careful investigations - and I don’t really want anybody to endorse it !

Hey Sharmila, plz make it clear who’s hard !? Me or Swati !?

I am sure, not Me ! See my track-record... Mild, Soft, Gentle, Humble, Modest :D

I believe I am.

But if somebody’s giving shits for nothing, can’t take kindly man... Can you !?

:-P I meant swati was harsh....everyone has a point of view and the other person should respect that.

Mughal architecture is a mixture of many forms of building designs. If the pinnacle of the Taj looks like that of a Shiva temple one should not be surprised. The pinnacle is also a lightning neutralizer. Since the Taj is in India, architects took indigenous designs suiting Indian climatic conditions. There is no mystery there.

The History is full of such events and we know that it is the ruler who decides the fate of everything.

Just like the current government is doing things which will never be judged as fair or honest, but for getting some fake peace of getting into power again.

Human has been doing all such tasks of regret since long.

We should forget the past and act for the future.

I totally agree that it doesn’t matter even a bit what was there before.
I have also heard a conspiracy theory that inside kabbah there is Shiv temple. Outrageous. How the hell doe sit matter.

Similarly someone will come with a monkey and say that monkey’s ancestors used to own that place. Archaeologist will prove that for sure. So we should destroy the Taj and have a monkey habitat there. right?
